Ian Slavin
Principal
After graduating the University of Miami with an M.B.A in 2007, Ian began his career working as an acquisition and operations analyst for a multifamily group in Baltimore, MD. In 2011, after moving to Boca Raton, FL, he joined Parkland Development, a student housing and market rate development firm. He quickly ascended to the position of V.P. of Development and helped the company develop over 3,000 student housing beds branded as “The Forum” and 400 market rate apartments.
In 2018 Mr. Slavin transitioned to a position with Encore Capital as Development Manager. There he led a group developing the “Sentosa” brand with over 1,000 units developed and another 2,000 in the pipeline. He also managed Plantation Walk, a $350 million mixed use project with 700+ apartments, 130,000 sq ft of retail and 160,000 sq ft of office space. Now he is bringing his expertise to MIVO Development Group which is prime to capitalize on the ever-expanding Florida Market.
